Do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own?  For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's. (1Corinthians 6:19)

Come on! Join me as we explore the eight principals of health.  I have included links to those pages that I have finished, as well as other links that I find helpful.

"Pure air, sunlight, abstemiousness, rest, exercise, proper diet, the use of water, trust in divine power--these are the true remedies. Every person should have a knowledge of nature's remedial agencies and how to apply them. It is essential both to understand the principles involved in the treatment of the sick and to have a practical training that will enable one rightly to use this knowledge.
The use of natural remedies requires an amount of care and effort that many are not willing to give. Nature's process of healing and upbuilding is gradual, and to the impatient it seems slow. The surrender of hurtful indulgences requires sacrifice. But in the end it will be found that nature, untrammeled, does her work wisely and well. Those who persevere in obedience to her laws will reap the reward in health of body and health of mind....
...
And so far as possible, all who are seeking to recover health should place themselves amid country surroundings, where they can have the benefit of outdoor life. Nature is God's physician. The pure air, the glad sunshine, the flowers and trees, the orchards and vineyards, and outdoor exercise amid these surroundings, are health-giving, life-giving."

Rest

Each hour of sleep attained before midnight is worth two hours after midnight...In addition to retiring at a reasonable time to get fully rested for another day, I like to rest away from the brainwork of being a junior/senior high school teacher in meditation, prayer, and music.
I'm sharing a few of my favorite piano pieces here. No, they are not studio quality, they are come-sing-around-piano quality. CJs Medley is my mom playing a collection of pieces for her mother's 94th birthday.
